Gramarvin is a handsome Victorian guest house situated in the picturesque town of Oban. The bed and breakfast accommodation is high quality at a reasonable price. Each year we enjoy welcoming visitors from around the world who come to experience for themselves the magical, dramatic beauty of the Argyll coast, the ancient seat of the Kings of Scotland which is not only steeped in history, beautiful scenery and great culinary delights, but has leisure pursuits and entertainment to suit all tastes.

Oban and the surrounding area is fast developing a reputation for good food. With the bountiful sea on the frontdoor and the well-stocked hills out the backdoor, there is no better larder for Oban’s chefs to choose their produce from. You will of course be looking for accommodation at a reasonable price during your visit to Oban, especially as the town and surrounding area merits more than a passing glance.

Gramarvin offers just that it is situated within the town centre and is in level walking distance of both the train station and the ferry terminal. For those who travel by car to visit us there is a private car park at the rear of the house. Gramarvin provides an excellent base for discovering the interesting and attractive town of Oban or for exploring further afield to explore the beautiful western Highlands and Islands.

Leisure facilities are also available at the Atlantis Leisure Centre; swimming pool, tennis courts, and a fitness room are all available here and situated next door is the local bowling green, all of which are within easy walking distance of the guest house.
